Event Name:

How can we reconcile the angry and holy God of the Old Testament (OT) who destroys nations of people with the loving and meek Jesus of the New Testament (NT) who forgives and shows mercy? Has our God changed? How can we make sense of this seeming contradiction?

In this talk, Rev Dr Gordon Wong will address if the God of the OT has changed into a different kind of God in the NT. He will help us understand if God is "the same, yesterday, today and forever" (Heb 13: 8) and why are some commands in the OT no longer enforced in the NT.
