I Want to Grow in Christ

“continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 12b-13 

After we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, our next step is to get to know Jesus and grow in Him. John Wesley had emphasised that conversion is not a one-time event - we don’t just “get saved” and wait to go to heaven. The Christian life is an ongoing process of transformation into the likeness of Christ. God’s love and grace are continually at work in our lives to help us “mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13.

Jesus’ call to His disciples “Follow Me!” is an invitation to a new way of living in which we learn to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love others as we love ourselves. He calls us to a richer, deeper, more vibrant relationship with Him. Come, join us on this journey to deepen your relationship with Jesus, and walk the path that leads to life!
