October 2024
St Paul Methodist School (SPMS) in Timor-Leste is looking for new or pre-loved laptops to facilitate teaching and build IT literacy for students. Currently the teacher-student ratio is high. Therefore, lessons using digital content will be a force-multiplier especially at classes where teacher numbers are limited.
The donated laptops will also help Timorese students build digital skills. Ultimately helping with the country’s development as they connect with the rest of the world for trade and knowledge.
We accept laptops of any age, as long as these conditions are met:
We do not accept tablets or handheld devices, as these require high speed internet which is not readily available at SPMS.
We hope to collect a total of 50 devices by end-2024.
