Discipleship & Nurture

We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
–
Colossians 1: 28

Your spiritual well-being matters. Our pastors and church leaders are concerned about and interested in the growth of every Wesleyan’s faith.

The Discipleship and Nurture ministry’s key mission is to equip individuals in their life-long journey of faith and also to enable them to develop their God-given talents for works of service in God’s Kingdom.

The Wesley Discipleship Model (WDM) was developed to help you in your discipleship journey.

The WDM is simple — all you need to do is to avail yourself to participate in the learning sessions and activities selected for the five Faith Catalyst Environments — C.O.R.D.S. — and you will discover the wonderful and fulfilling life that God has intended for each of us individually and all of us collectively!

To equip you in your life-long journey of faith and enable you to develop your God-given talents for works of service in God’s Kingdom, the Discipleship and Nurture (D&N) Committee was given the task to coordinate with other ministries, facilitate, and support these courses throughout the C.O.R.D.S. Environments.

A wide range of Christian resources are provided including insightful lay training courses, in-depth bible studies, interesting multimedia resources and workshops on contemporary Christian concerns to help you grow in Christ-likeness. The variety of resources available caters to Christians of all stages of spiritual maturity. No matter where you are in your journey as a disciple of God, you will find something that suits your needs.
