LENT 2025

5 March – 19 April 2025

Lent is a 40-day season (not counting Sundays) observed by an intentional focus and reflection on the life, ministry and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, culminating in his death on Good Friday and resurrection on Easter Sunday. We may practise spiritual disciplines such as confession and self-examination, fasting and prayer, and giving and service.

A 2025 Lent Devotional booklet that includes heartfelt devotions and scriptural applications, and information on Lent Sermon Series is available. The devotions will continue for three days after Easter, until 23 April 2025. 

This year, each Saturday’s devotional will feature a time for personal Lectio Divina or reflection on the same scripture passage of the weekend’s sermon. A pre-recorded audio guide will also be available. Details can be found in the booklet.
