REAL CHURCH
1 CORINTHIANS SERMON SERIES (AUG-NOV 2023)
Dear Church family,
Our sermon series on 1 Corinthians from August to early November is entitled Real Church.
In line with our direction this year on Discipleship in the Family, we hope to face the Real Issues we have as a church family.
We hope, through this sermon series, to forge a Real authentic Community as we find our Real Hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let me invite you to participate in this sermon series.
And here are some Encouragements for us:
- Do a book study of 1 Corinthians as a small group as you follow the sermon series.
- If you are not in a small group, join one or join a study group. We will be starting study groups for this series details can be found below. Come and learn together!
- Invite someone to join you for this sermon series as you attend our services, whether onsite or online.
- Journal your daily reflections on God’s Word through our Bible Reading Drive.
- Form a Discipleship Band for deeper sharing and accountability as we do life together.
There will also be Mid-Week Teaching Sessions (MWTS) on contemporary issues raised in 1 Corinthians. These sessions are to supplement the sermons from the pulpit, and they are great opportunities to ask questions, discuss perspectives and discern answers together. Read and sign up for the upcoming sessions below.
Let us keep the 1 Corinthians sermon series in prayer as we desire to grow as a church family. As a church family, let’s get REAL.

Bible Reading Drive 2023 | 1 CORINTHIANS
To help us prepare for the Sermon Series, we will be reading through 1 Corinthians in August 2023.
The Bible Reading Drive 2023 1 Corinthians reading plan will cover a total of 19 days from Thursday 10 Aug to 31 Aug.
Every day from Monday to Saturday, we will read a selected passage from 1 Corinthians with a second passage from Psalms. On Sundays, the readings will be taken from Psalms.
Daily reflections penned by our church leaders from the readings on 1 Corinthians will be posted on our Church's Telegram Channel (wesleymc.org/telegram) and on our Tidings microsite (tidings.wesleymc.org).
